Climate change is caused by two things: Human activity and human inaction. But the cost of inaction is much greater than we think.

What is the cost of climate inaction? Climate inaction will inevitably increase the negative impacts that the world will experience due to our changing climate. Continued inaction will make achieving the 1.5°C goal of the Paris Agreement more and more costly, and ultimately, completely out of reach.
